2009 – 2010 School Year
Camp Seabeck is a beautifully wooded conference center located near Seabeck, Washington (8 miles west of Silverdale, on the Hood Canal) that we rent annually for our music department retreats. The camp supplies all of our meals, space for our rehearsals, and recreational facilities (we are fully insured through the school district). Housing is in historical buildings accommodating variable numbers of residents, each with toilet and shower facilities. All bedding and linens are provided. Students have the opportunity to select their preferred roommates.
This is the first travel obligation of the year, and it is important because it is the first time all the groups from all the high schools get together. We make decisions about what music is to be performed during the year, and we begin to establish the seating arrangements within the sections.
A $15 deposit is required no later than July 15, 2009. Please mail or deliver this to

Note: You should plan to meet at Issaquah HS (700 2nd Ave SE, Issaquah) not later than 9:30 AM on Saturday. The bus will depart promptly at 10:00 AM Saturday. If you cut it too close, if you encounter bad traffic or bad weather, if your watch is slow, or if for any other reason you are not on the bus and ready to leave by 10:00 sharp, the bus will leave without you. If that happens, you must get to Camp Seabeck on your own. The bus is expected to return to Issaquah HS at around 2:30 Sunday afternoon.
